Nathan Kelly

Prior to starting CVJ, Nate spent 13 years in capital markets, most recently at JPMorgan.  In this capacity, Nate advised companies on how best to use complex structured products and derivatives to meet their strategic objectives.  Nate worked with a diverse group of industries and across a broad spectrum of capital arrangements, including transactions related to mergers & acquisitions, project financing, real estate financing, bond issuance, syndications, private placements, and asset based lending.  In total, Nate executed more than $25b of these transactions.  Prior to JPMorgan, Nate was in consulting, and also spent time at 2 start-up companies, one of which raised $120mm in VC funding.

Nate holds a BS in finance and international business, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University, and an MBA, with concentrations in Strategy and Finance, from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Annie Liddle

Annie has lived in Lake Forest since 2020 with her husband Ryan with whom she has two young children, Reese and Harrison. She is a native of Winnetka and graduated from New Trier High School before earning a B.A. degree from the University of Michigan majoring in Political Science. She lived and worked in Washington, D.C., and came back to Chicago to obtain a degree from Harrington College of Design to pursue her other passion. She has been in the interior design industry for over 15 years, starting her own company in 2020. She is an active board member and enjoys volunteering for the Infant Welfare Society of Lake Forest. She is thrilled to be back in the North Shore raising her family and looks forward to serving the residents of Lake Forest as a Caucus Committee member.

Ann Lyon

Ann and her family have resided in Lake Forest since 1995. She became a Realtor in 2005 after a successful 20+ year career practicing architecture and overseeing construction, specializing in commercial and residential architecture. Ann serves Lake Forest, Lake Bluff and the greater North Shore. Ann would like to be involved in the Caucus because she truly believes Lake Forest is a special community and the Caucus helps choose the best people to maintain and improve all that Lake Forest offers.

Jennifer McGregor

Jennifer’s position as Chief Revenue Officer & Managing Partner for a virtual reality design technology platform leverages her relationships and leadership experience throughout her 25-year career in the architectural design industry- previously leading teams in the Middle East & Asia.

She has served locally as a Trustee for LFHS Foundation, LFHS Wall of Fame, District 67 & 115 APT, Citadel Theatre, Friends of Gorton & the Economic Club of Chicago, Lake Forest Symphony, and on numerous national boards for City of Hope, Melanoma Research Foundation & Board Chair for the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS.

As an alum of LF schools, Jennifer prides herself in her deep roots in the community having spent all but ten years of her life and ultimately raised her three children here. She looks forward to this opportunity to serve our gem of a city.

Scott Nehls

Scott and his wife, Susie, and their four children moved to Lake Forest in 2020. Having started coaching his oldest son in various sports many years ago, Scott has now coached several dozen sports teams of all varieties. In this most recent year, Scott coached all four of his kids’ soccer teams while serving on the board of their soccer club.

Outside of his amateur coaching career, Scott is a partner at a boutique Chicago law firm, Fuchs & Roselli, where he handles a variety of complex commercial litigation. Scott graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, where he double majored in Economics and Political Science, and earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law (where he also met his wife on the first day). Scott serves on several local bar associations and their subcommittees, most notably the Chicago Bar Association’s Judicial Evaluation Committee. When Scott is not at work or coaching his kids’ various sports teams, he is playing hockey or doing a home improvement project.

Kent Novit

Kent Elliott Novit moved to Lake Forest in 1990 with his wife Nancy and two daughters, Elizabeth and Caroline.  He attended the University of Wisconsin and received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University.  Kent received his Juris Doctor form John Marshall Law School in 1984.  In 1990 Kent founded the law firm of Novit & Novit LLC.  Kent has been an active member of the Lake Forest Community.  He has been involved in Lake Forest government since 2000.  He served on the Zoning Board of Appeals for 5 years before serving as the 1st ward Alderman for six years.  In addition he served on the Lake Forest School District 67 School Board from 2015 to 2019.  Kent looks forward to serving Ward 1 and all Lake Forest residents through his participation on the Caucus Committee.

Larry Obermeyer

Larry Obermeyer and his wife, Anne O’Connell, have been happy to call Lake Forest their home since 2006. Larry is a retired IT professional who spent much of his career with Lake County government. He also previously was a licensed real estate appraiser.

Larry enjoys golfing, doing home-improvement projects, and spending time with friends and family, including his grandson, Henry.

Tim O’Donnell

Tim, his wife Ashley, and their twin boys moved from Chicago to Lake Forest in 2016. Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University and a Masters of Science from The American College. Having grown up in the northern suburbs, Tim well understands the impact a close-knit community can have on a family and looks forward to helping Lake Forest continue to improve upon its already stellar reputation.

Tim spent the last 10 years working as one of the original members of a software startup based out of the northern suburbs. Tim was the VP of Sales/Partnerships where he utilized his passion for relationship building. The company was successfully sold to one of the largest RCM technology companies in the US. When he is not spending time with his family, you will find Tim training for his next Ironman Triathlon.

Kelly Park

Kelly and her family have been living in Lake Forest since 2018. She is a dermatologist and micrographic dermatologic (Mohs) surgeon in private practice and at the VA. She received her medical degree at Northeastern Ohio Medical University and her Master of Studies in Law degree at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She enjoys exploring what Lake Forest has to offer and being active in the community.

Marian Pearcy

A former attorney, teacher, and principal, Marian has been a resident of Lake Forest Place for the past seven years and served as chairman of its Resident Advisory Council for two years. She would like to contribute to the larger community. Marian grew up on the North Shore and has always appreciated the beauty of Lake Forest. She sees the dichotomy in the push for growth and the desire to preserve the heritage that has made Lake Forest such a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
