Joe moved to Lake Forest from Chicago in 2015 with his wife Courtney and newborn son Massimo (2015). Since then, Courtney and Joe welcomed three daughters – Lucia (2016), Liliana (2018), and Marcella (2020) all born at Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital. We look forward to educating them all through Lake Forest’s renowned public school system (districts 67 and 115) and participating in the many programs our community offers.
Joe earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Kent State University, with a major in Finance and minors in Accounting and International Business. He is FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licensed, holds the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors (AIRA) Certification in Distressed Business Valuation, and is a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor.
Joe is a Director with Riveron Consulting and has nearly 20 years of experience in corporate restructuring advisory and management consulting advising clients on matters relating to strategy, operations, and finance. He has held Healthcare Administration positions such as Chief Restructuring Officer and interim C-Suite level positions (President, CFO, COO, etc.) for community hospitals.
Joe loves all things baseball and is fortunate to still play in MSBL leagues. He’s a terrible golfer but enjoys it immensely and plays as often as his wife allows. He also is a PADI certified scuba diver preferring warm water and logging the sea life he encounters. Joe has volunteered to coach Tee ball in both Lake Forest and Lake Bluff as well as AYSO soccer.
Joe is honored to offer his time, skills, and experience in an effort to maintain and improve the many wonderful programs, institutions, and benefits that are available for Lake Forest residents.
