Dale B. Tauke
Secretary
Dale is an aspiring musician and now-retired attorney with over four decades of legal experience. His legal practice ranged widely in areas of corporate law, including finance, securities, M&A and energy contracting. He and his wife of 43 years, Mary K. Stull (a retired healthcare industry executive) have lived in Lake Forest for nearly 38 years. All five of his children attended Cherokee School, Deer Path Middle School and Lake Forest High School.
Dale has been a member of the Lake Forest Caucus Committee for three years and of the Caucus Executive Committee for two years and serves as Secretary of the Caucus. Dale is a staunch proponent of the Caucus’s mission of promoting agenda-free, non-politicized government in Lake Forest by finding the best of our volunteer citizens to serve.
Prior to the Caucus, Dale served for six years as a member and four years as Chairman of the City of Lake Forest Legal Committee. Dale also served as a citizen representative on the Finance and Operations Subcommittee of the Lake Forest District 115 Board of Education. He was very active with the Boy Scouts of America. His two sons are Eagle Scouts from Troop 46, and he mentored many others to Eagle Scout as well. He was an AYSO girls’ team soccer coach.
Dale’s education includes a Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Chicago Law School and a B.B.A. Degree with Highest Distinction from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa.
