Eileen Looby Weber was born and raised in Lake Forest. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in Horticultural Production & Marketing at Purdue University. It was her love of flowers and working with people that led Eileen to join Lake Forest Flowers. She earned an MBA at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management while continuing to manage the business. Eileen has taught hands-on floral workshops and demonstrations at locations such as Elawa Farm, Dickinson Hall, Evanston Art Center, Glencoe Park District, Kenilworth Park District, and many North Shore garden clubs.
Currently, she serves on the City of Lake Forest’s Cemetery Commission and Route 60 Corridor Working Group, as well as being an active volunteer for the Church and School of St. Mary and a member of the Junior Garden Club of Lake Forest. Her past volunteer service includes the City of Lake Forest’s Waukegan Road/Settlers Square Business District Working Group, Lake Forest–Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Past President of the Lake Forest Caucus, Past President of the Amberley Woods Condominium Association, and Lake Forest–Lake Bluff Junior Women’s Club Member. Eileen is a member of the Society of American Florists and was inducted into the American Academy of Floriculture.
Eileen and her husband, Brian, have two sons, Michael (4) and Edward (1). In her free time, you can find her chasing her sons at the playground, in her garden, playing golf, shopping local or volunteering in the community she adores.
