Joe Weiss is the Director of Retail Sales for the Illinois Lottery, overseeing statewide operations and a team of nearly 100. His role supports annual sales exceeding $3.5 billion, generating over $750 million for Illinois. With more than 35 years of experience in government and public service, Joe has held positions at the Illinois Comptroller’s Office, Department of Commerce, and served as an elected official and school board member. He lives in Lake Forest with his wife and two children, and is active in several local organizations and previously co-hosted The Lake Forest Podcast.
