Karina Richter has been a resident of Lake Forest for more than 30 years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in Learning Disabilities from Teachers College, Columbia University. Earlier in her career, she worked as a bilingual commodities and options broker on the CBOT and CME. She then spent nearly 30 years as a special education teacher in a neighboring school district. Now retired, Karina is eager to contribute her experience and commitment to serving the Lake Forest community.
