Jennifer moved with her parents and five siblings to Lake Forest in 1970. She is a School of St. Mary and LFHS graduate. She received her B.A. in History at Northwestern University and J.D. at the University of Illinois College of Law in Urbana, Illinois.

After leaving law school, Jennifer worked for law firms Hinshaw & Culbertson, Abramson & Fox and in her own solo practice in Chicago, handling matters in both state and federal trial and appellate courts. She is a member of the United States Supreme Court bar. She and her husband, also an attorney and finance executive, resided in Chicago, later moved to Winnetka, and moved back to Lake Forest in 1992 where they raised four children who attended both private and public schools and LFHS.

For many years, Jennifer was a full-time stay at home mom, leader in various charitable endeavors, and later returned to the practice of law, handling a wide variety of litigated matters. Jennifer looks forward to safeguarding and fostering the sound objectives of all District 115 stakeholders: students, parents, and taxpayers.
