Kristin’s family moved to Lake Forest in 2014, the summer before their oldest child would start kindergarten. Her husband, a Lake Forest native, raved about the excellent schools and they wanted to raise their family in the community. They have three children currently in the school districts.

Kristin has a secondary education degree from Purdue University. She later received her early childhood teaching credentials from the College of Lake County and later received her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Administration. She has spent the last 15 years working in early childhood education and recently opened an in-home daycare.

In her free time, she enjoys watching her children participate in various sports and playing beautiful music. Kristin is looking forward to working with district 67 and giving back to her community.
