Born in the State of Guanajuato, Mexico, Armando Guzman grew up in Little Village on the West side of Chicago and attended Westminster College on a Soccer Scholarship. He earned a dual degree B.A. in International Studies and B.A.in Spanish.

Armando and his wife, Maggie along with daughters, Isabella and Hailey absolutely love traveling the world, a passion ignited by Armando’s Junior year at Saint Louis University-Madrid, Spain.

Armando has been a Risk Advisor for 26 years as an Agent for State Farm Insurance. When not in the office, you can usually find Armando literally tearing up the Deerpath Golf Course. Armando looks forward to continue learning from current caucus members on ways to make our wonderful community even better.
