Announcement of Proposed Candidates for School Board

Over the past several months, your neighbors on the Caucus Committee have recruited, interviewed, and vetted candidates for our School Boards. We are proud to share the candidates who will be presented for endorsement at the Annual Meeting on October 6th!

District 67 School Board

Our School Boards guide the District 67 elementary and middle schools and District 115 high school. Board members make decisions about school policy, budget, and curriculum, and they hire and evaluate the superintendent who leads the districts. Each of these School Board candidates brings the judgment, experience, and commitment needed to serve our schools. You can learn more about them [here].

Come meet them at a Meet and Greet on October 1st at Gorton Center from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. It is a great chance to hear why each candidate is being recommended.

Then please vote at the Annual Meeting on October 6th at Gorton Center from 12 and 8 pm.

In the coming weeks, we will share more about the proposed candidate for Mayor.

To be eligible to vote at the Lake Forest Caucus Annual Meeting on October 6th, you must be a registered voter with residency in Lake Forest. ID will be required. The Caucus Committee checks IDs against an up-to-date registered voter list, obtained through the Lake County Clerk's office, to verify you are a registered voter in Lake Forest. If you are registered to vote in another state, you will not be permitted to vote at the Annual Meeting.
