Caucus Committee April Update

New Members, Leadership Transitions and Bylaws Progress

As we begin a new term, we want to take a moment to welcome and congratulate our newly elected committee members, thank those who are concluding their service, and share an update on the bylaws work ahead.

We’re pleased to welcome the newest members of the Caucus Committee, elected by the community through the recent Caucus Connection mail-in ballot:

  • Ward 2: Brian Lang, Gene Manzer & Katie Molle

  • Ward 3: John Hubbard & Nick Tatro

  • Ward 4: Tom Bohac & Adam Cohen

In addition, we’re excited to welcome the following members who are joining the committee as backfills:

  • Ward 1: Lukas Szot

  • Ward 3: Wyn Cain

We look forward to their contributions in the year ahead!

2025-2026 Executive Officer Team Installed

In addition to new committee members, the newly elected Executive Officer team was also officially installed during the April 8th meeting.

You can view the full list of 2025–2026 Caucus Committee members on our website here.

Thank You to Our Outgoing Members

We also want to extend our thanks to those who have concluded their service on the Caucus Committee. Your time, dedication, and efforts are sincerely appreciated.

  • Treasurer: Fred Brewer

  • Ward 1: Annie Liddle & Janet White

  • Ward 2: Michael Crimmins & Jay Soave

  • Ward 3: Cindy Davidson (Ward Chair)

A Special Thank You to Joe Oriti

We would like to recognize and thank Joe Oriti, who recently completed his term as President. Under his leadership, the Caucus Committee made significant progress in reconnecting with the community and addressing key issues related to the bylaws. We are grateful for his guidance and steady hand during this time.

Bylaws Update

With the full 2025-2026 team now in place, we are resuming our work on the bylaws. Over the past few weeks, we’ve gathered feedback, ideas, and questions from both Caucus Committee members and the community. We’re currently reviewing this input to understand how it may shape or impact the current recommendations.

The Caucus plans on meeting on April 22, 2025 to determine next steps.

Thank you all for your continued engagement and service. We’re looking forward to the important work ahead.
