Pursuant to Section 3.02(a)1-4 of the Bylaws, we are proud to present the Lake Forest Caucus Annual Report here which includes the reports of the President, the Treasurer, and bios of the candidates who will be voted on at the October 14, 2025 Annual Meeting.
The Lake Forest Caucus Annual Meeting is an extremely important event. This is the community’s opportunity to vote on and approve the Alternative Voting Methods Bylaws Amendment and to affirm the Caucus Committee’s city council candidates who will be on the ballot on the March 17, 2026 Consolidated Election.
Voting will be open on October 14th, between 2-8pm, at the Gorton Center.
The text of the proposed Alternative Voting Methods Amendment can be found here and the presentation provided at the public meetings on the Alternative Voting Methods Amendment can be found here.
The Caucus Committee's Electronic Voting Subcommittee has narrowed its search to two vendors that can provide this service to the Caucus: Simply Voting and eBallot. You can view a demo of the Simply Voting process here and a demo of the eBallot process here.
