Meet the Caucus Committee Endorsed City Council Candidates Today!

Join us today between 7-8 p.m. at the Gorton Center to meet the City Council Candidates put forth by the Caucus Committee for endorsement at the Annual Meeting:


Ward 1 Alderman - Nancy Novit (incumbent)

Ward 2 Alderman - Rosemary Kehr

Ward 3 Alderman - Alice LeVert (incumbent)

Ward 4 Alderman - Lloyd Culbertson


We believe these candidates possess the skills, experience, and knowledge to best serve the residents of Lake Forest and help lead our community. You can learn more about the City Council candidates here.


The Caucus Committee proposed Alternative Voting Methods Amendment will also be voted on at the Annual Meeting. Please find additional information about this important Amendment here and vote "yes" on October 14, 2025 for this Amendment!


Please vote on October 14th at Gorton Center between 2 to 8 pm for each candidate and the proposed Amendment.


To be eligible to vote at the Lake Forest Caucus Annual Meeting on October 14th, you must be a registered voter with residency in Lake Forest.  ID will be required.  The Caucus Committee checks IDs against an up-to-date registered voter list, obtained through the Lake County Clerk’s office, to verify you are a registered voter in Lake Forest.  If you are registered to vote in another state, you will not be permitted to vote at the Annual Meeting.  We are committed to making voting as easy as possible.  Please come prepared and it will be a smooth process. There is still time to register to vote, and you can do that here.
