School Board Candidates to be Presented October 20th

Over the last week, the Caucus Committee has conducted additional interviews and held discussions regarding candidates for the two open School Board seats.

Following those discussions, we are proud to introduce two new candidates: Ryan Wiedmann for the District 67 Board and Kent Novit for the District 115 Board. We encourage you to review their backgrounds here before the vote this upcoming Tuesday.

Rather than running our original candidates for these positions against two new candidates, we are listening to and honoring the community’s original vote and we will recommend only one person for each open position, while remaining true to the Caucus Committee’s mission of advancing the individuals that we believe to be most qualified for the proposed positions.

We sincerely thank the two original candidates, both neighbors, like all of us, who stepped forward to serve.
