More than 1,100 Lake Forest residents came out to the Annual Meeting, and 10 of the 12 recommended candidates were approved by the community.

Two School Board seats remain open, one on the District 67 Board and one on the District 115 Board. We are already working with candidates who have been previously vetted by the Caucus Committee.

We will hold a Special Meeting to vote on School Board candidates on Tuesday, October 20th. The Caucus Committee will meet with candidates over the next week and recommend those most qualified. Candidate names and backgrounds will be communicated next week, giving every resident time to review materials before the vote at the Special Meeting.
