Serving as your President and steward of the 91st Caucus has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. As my term comes to a close, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the trust you placed in me and for the collective dedication that has driven our shared mission.

I have been inspired by the volunteers, advocates, residents and neighbors who work tirelessly to support the Caucus, serve on its committee, build bridges, foster understanding, and create opportunities for residents to serve on the city’s boards and commissions. Lake Foresters embody the true spirit of community, and leading this group has only strengthened my hope for what can be accomplished together in the future.

As I prepare to pass the leadership to the next President, I do so with confidence in the Caucus’s future. Confidence in our shared values, our nonpartisanship, and most importantly, in the residents who make this community vibrant and resilient.

As the work of the Caucus continues, I am certain it will be carried forward with the same passion, integrity, and inclusiveness that have always defined us.

Thank you for the honor of serving you and for your dedication, insights, emails, text messages, and perspectives throughout my term and for the moments of collective progress we have shared. I leave this role humbled, grateful, and optimistic about the path ahead.

With sincere respect and enduring hope for the future of Lake Forest,

Sincerely,

Regina P. Etherton - Lake Forest Caucus President
