Your Community. Your Caucus. Your Contribution.

The Lake Forest Caucus is a 100% volunteer organization that operates independently of the City.  It receives no public funding nor other institutional support. We have always been funded by our fellow residents.

Currently, our annual expenses are ~$42,000. The largest components are the technology platforms and the Caucus website. This year, we plan to make modest technology upgrades to improve our communications with the Lake Forest community.

To continue the good work of the Caucus, we need your help.  Lake Forest has approximately 7,200 households. If 1 in 7 households contributed $40 or more, we would cover this year.

Your contribution will allow the Caucus to fulfill its mission of vetting and recommending interested volunteers to fill the various City and School Board elected and appointed positions. Not only does the Caucus save taxpayers money by identifying and qualifying candidates, your Ward members effectively give all residents input into the selection of Lake Forest’s elected and appointed representatives. 

The Caucus has served a vital role over the last 90+ years.  Help us continue the good work it does for our community.
